Research Abstract

腸間膜白色脂肪組織の形成において、FGF受容体2が間質血管に発現するFGF9をリガンドとして、おそらくエネルギー消費を抑制し、その結果、脂肪脂肪のサイズが増加(肥大)することが明らかになった。また、FGF受容体2のリガンドの候補として期待したFGF21は、代謝状態に合わせて脂肪細胞のトリグリセリドの分解に重要な役割を果たすものの、FGF受容体2のリガンドではないことが明らかになった。
