Research Abstract |
古来より中国において滋養強壮作用を有する生薬として使用されてきた冬虫夏草の有効成分であるコーディセピンをリード化合物として合成したメチルコーディセピンは、コーディセピンよりも持続的な抗がん活性を示した。その作用機序としてアデノシンキナーゼの活性化を介している可能性が示唆された。また、種々のがん細胞(マウスメラノーマ細胞、マウス肺がん細胞、ヒト大腸がん細胞およびヒト白血病細胞)に対して有用であったが、特に、転移能の高いヒト線維肉腫細胞に対して強い抗がん活性を示し、in vivoでヒト線維肉腫細胞に対する影響をマウスの生存日数を指標に検討したところ、メチルコーディセピンを投与したマウスはコントロールマウスと比較して有意に生存日数が延長した。
