Research Abstract

遺伝子治療法は、癌などの難治性疾患に対する治療法として期待されているが、臨床応用に至った例に乏しい。我々は、plasmid DNA単体を肝臓などの臓器表面に、臓器・部位選択的かつ安全に導入可能なことを報告しているが、遺伝子導入効率に改善の余地がある。そこで、本研究では遺伝子導入に必要なplasmid DNAの細胞取り込み機構を明らかにし、遺伝子導入の促進剤の探索に有益な知見を得ることに成功した。
