Research Abstract |
RNA interference (RNAi)-based therapy with small interfering RNA (siRNA) is expected as a potent treatment strategy for intractable diseases. However, systemic injection of siRNA is quite limited because of a problem of DDS technology. In the present study, a novel siRNA delivery system was established to achieve RNAi-based cancer therapies. Our data demonstrated that systemic injection of therapeutic siRNAs using our DDS technology suppressed tumor growth in animal studies.
