Research Abstract

新規活性酸素産生酵素であるNOX1/NADPH oxidaseのノックアウトマウスを用いて行動解析を行った。その結果、NOX1/NADPH oxidaseは非ストレス下では情動(不安)に影響を与えなかったが、単回ストレス負荷後のACTH増加とそれに続く不安レベルの増強に関与し、更に慢性ストレス負荷による副腎肥大とさらなる不安レベルの増加に寄与することを明らかにした。
