Research Abstract

近年肥満病態で注目されている血中アディポサイトカインの血液脳関門(BBB)機能に及ぼす影響は不明である。本研究では、アディポサイトカインによるBBB機能制御機構を追求することを目的とし、BBB構成細胞のペリサイトに着目して検討した。アディポネクチンのBBB機能に対する作用はなかったが、攻撃因子として一酸化窒素、オンコスタチンM、防御因子としてTGF-βを抽出することができた。またBBBの病変化の過程にはペリサイトの機能低下が関与していることが判った。
