Research Abstract

本研究の目的は、血管病変を引き起こす病態下で特徴的に内皮細胞に働いてその機能変化を導き、ひいては病態全体に影響を与える分子について、その意義を明らかにすることである。血管病変を引き起こす分子として注目されている酸化LDLの受容体であるLOX-1とC-reactive protein(CRP)について研究を行った。その結果、LOX-1にCRP が結合し、血管反応に関与していることが明らかとなった。
