Research Abstract

免疫担当細胞であるBリンパ球は、外来抗原により活性化されると抗体を分泌する形質細胞へ最終分化を遂げる。その過程でIgM型抗体から他のIgG型抗体へアイソタイプが変換されるクラススイッチで抗原処理に多様性を生み出す。しかし、その過程での転写調節機構は不明であった。本研究では、転写因子Bach2を中心とした遺伝子制御ネットワークが、Bリンパ球がクラススイッチするのに重要であることを見いだした。
