Research Abstract

細胞増殖や細胞内物質輸送など様々な細胞内シグナル伝達を司るホスファチジルイノシトール3リン酸(PIP3)は、PIP3の脱リン酸化酵素であるSKIPやPTENによって細胞内において時間的にも空間的にも精緻に制御されていることを明らかにした。この結果はがんや糖尿病の一因を知る上で有力な手がかりとなると期待される。
