Research Abstract

本研究により、肝細胞癌にはABCG2発現に関して腫瘍細胞のヒエラルキーが存在し、ABCG2陽性細胞に癌幹細胞が含まれることが明らかとなった。一方、CD133は、幹細胞マーカーであると同時に、胆管や膵管にコンスタントに発現する分子であり、CD133単独では癌幹細胞を同定するのが困難であると考えられた。肝細胞癌、胆管癌、膵管癌では、これらの分子の発現や分布、陽性細胞の生物学的特徴に違いが見られた。
