Research Abstract

胃癌107例中, PDGF, VEGF蛋白の過剰発現は, 53%, 41%の症例にみられ, 両者が同一症例で発現する傾向があった. また, 87%の症例で中等度以上の血管密度がみられ, PDGFの過剰発現と統計学的に有意な相関があったが, VEGFの過剰発現と相関はなかった. 胃癌においては, VEGFよりもPDGFの分泌が血管密度を上昇させることが示唆され, さらに両者が共同して血管新生を誘導している可能性も示唆された.
