Research Abstract

現在、がん免疫療法において臨床応用されているBCG-CWSには種々の懸案事項があり、代替可能なアジュバントの開発が必要とされていた。我々はこれまでに携わってきたBCG-CWS研究を基に、アジュバント療法のメカニズム、および必要な免疫応答を解析し、これらを考慮に入れた機能的創薬設計から、新規人工アジュバント・試作化合物を開発した。その活性は未だ十分なものではないが、より強力なアジュバントへ改良しうる可能性を見いだした。
