Research Abstract

熱帯熱マラリア原虫の新規遺伝子操作ツールの開発を目的とし、熱帯熱マラリア原虫人工染色体の開発を試みた。まず、人工染色体開発に必須なセントロメア領域をクローニングし、これを組込んだプラスミドを作製した。さらにこれにテロメアを組込み、人工染色体を作製した。セントロメアプラスミド及び環状人工染色体は実際に染色体様に挙動し、新規ツールとして有効であることが示された。
