Research Abstract

cagA遺伝子を保有するヘリコバクター・ピロリ菌(ピロリ菌)感染は、胃癌発症の危険率を有意に高める。これまでに、CagAがss-cateninシグナルを活性化することを報告している。本研究では、CagAが結合する新規細胞内標的分子を明らかにし、ss-cateninシグナルを活性化する分子機構を解明した。また、ss-cateninシグナル活性化に必要なCagAの責任領域を明らかにした。
