Research Abstract

ラット上皮細胞株RK3Eを用いたトランスフォーメーションアッセイにおいて、jaagsiekte sheep retrovirus(JSRV)、及びenzootic nasal tumor virus(ENTV)のどちらのエンベロープも、Ras-MEK-MAPK経路、PI3k-Akt-mTOR経路、及びRac1を活性化して細胞をトランスフォームすることが示唆された。また、JSRVエンベロープ細胞内領域のY590遺伝子に変異を導入したウイルスゲノムを持つウイルス粒子の接種は、ヒツジ個体内で肺癌を発症しなかったことから、Y590を含めた細胞内領域の重要性がin vivoにおいて初めて確認された。
