Research Abstract

本研究では,腸管粘膜組織におけるIgA生産誘導機構を明らかにすることを目的とした。腸管粘膜組織にはTNF-αとiNOSを構成的に発現するIgA生産誘導に特化したユニークな樹状細胞が多く存在することが明らかとなった。また,IgA腎症モデルマウスを用いた解析から,高IgA生産の誘導には腸管粘膜組織の形質細胞様樹状細胞が重要な役割を担っている可能性が示唆された。したがって,IgA生産誘導機構にはこれらDCが重要であり,IgA腎症治療の標的となる可能性が示唆された。
