Research Abstract

本研究では、遺伝子欠損マウスを用いて、アレルギー性疾患におけるIL-27受容体シグナルの役割を検討し、特に、遅延型過敏反応などで、IFN-gやIL-17を始めとする炎症性サイトカイン産生の抑制に働き、病態を軽減させることを明らかにした。トリパノソーマ感染時の炎症では、残念ながらIL-27のIL-17産生に対する抑制作用を確認することが出来なかったが、IL-17自体は、感染防御免疫の増強に重要な役割を果たすことを明らかにした。
