Research Abstract

ヘリコバクターピロリ(Helicobacter pylori ; H. pylori)を、肥満細胞欠損マウスに感染させると、コントロール群に比べ抗体産生細胞である形質細胞が胃粘膜固有層に多く浸潤し、血清中に抗原特異的Ig産生が多く検出された。また、肥満細胞欠損により脾臓内巨核球の数が増加していることが確認された。すなわちH. pylori感染時に、肥満細胞が全身性に免疫系を制御することが示された。
