Research Abstract |
We showed the relationship between obesity and sex hormone and the effect of polymorphism in sex hormone receptor genes, especially in women during peri-menopausal period, intra-abdominal fat could increase significantly. In men, smoking might influence the relationship between obesity and free testosterone, and polymorphism in androgen receptor gene could influence the change of free testosterone.
