Research Abstract

大腸癌治療に用いられる抗がん剤のオキサリプラチンによる神経障害(しびれ)は個人差が大きい。しびれがきつく出る患者さんの場合日常生活にも支障をきたすことがあるため、あらかじめしびれが出やすいか出にくいかを知ることができれば治療計画を立てるときに大きな情報となる。本研究ではオキサリプラチンの解毒作用やしびれに関与していると考えられている遺伝子の個体差の違い(遺伝子多型)を調べて、しびれの出やすさと関係しているかどうかを調べた。
