Research Abstract

開発途上国を含めた世界中の国に普及が可能な経済的で効果的な新しい肝炎ウイルスワクチンの開発を目的として、針を使わない経皮免疫法の開発を検討した。細胞性免疫応答の主体である細胞傷害性T 細胞(CTL)の誘導を目的としたワクチンを開発するためにTLR7 リガンドであるイミキモド(Imiquimod)をアジュバントとして用いCTL エピトープペプチドを経皮的に投与して免疫応答を誘導した。ヘルパーエピトープを加えてさらにワクチンの効果を増強することに成功した。
