Research Abstract

肺動脈性肺高血圧症の病態に炎症および免疫反応が関連していると予測し、Toll like receptor-2ノックアウトマウスに対してモノクロタリンを投与して肺高血圧モデルを作成し、肺高血圧の程度、炎症性サイトカインの変化について組織学的検討および分子機序を検討した。Toll like receptorがその病態に関与していることが判明すれば、肺高血圧症の新たな治療のターゲットになると考えられる。
