Research Abstract |
心筋リモデリングにおける非心筋細胞(線維芽細胞や内皮細胞)の役割が注目されている。転写因子KLF5は線維芽細胞に多く発現し、KLF5+/-マウスでは圧負荷後の心肥大・線維化が抑制された。線維芽細胞特異的にKLF5を欠損させた遺伝子改変動物を新たに樹立した所、同様に心筋リモデリングが抑制された。in vovo心筋細胞肥大に線維芽細胞が関与する初めての知見であり、線維芽細胞内KLF5が肥大促進・分泌因子を制御することが想定される。
