Research Abstract

機能未同定であるapelin-APJ系が、血管平滑筋において直接的な酸化ストレス作用を持ち、動脈硬化症増悪因子となりうることをマウス個体で明らかにした。本研究は新たな動脈硬化症増悪因子を同定し、それは新たな治療ターゲットの開発へとつながる可能性を示した。
