Research Abstract

骨細胞特異的なCreマウス(DMP1-Cre)および、骨細胞特異的にグルココルチコイド受容体(GR)を無くしたマウスを作製することができた。また野生型マウスにGRアゴニストを投与すると、骨形成速度が低下し、骨細胞マーカーの発現も減少することが分かった。この結果はGRを介して骨代謝回転を低下させるという考えを指示するもので、骨細胞特異的GR-KOマウスを解析することで、ステロイド骨粗鬆症がどのようにGRを介して起こっているかを、骨細胞を中心としたメカニズムで解明することができると期待される。
