Research Abstract

自己免疫性多腺性内分泌不全症I型(APECED)は、AIRE遺伝子の突然変異により発症する。その発症メカニズムを解明するため、申請者は胸腺の中にごく僅かしか存在しないAIREを発現する細胞をマウスより株化しAIREの役割を探求している。このAire発現細胞株におけるAire遺伝子の発現を強制発現によって過剰にしたり、あるいはRNAiにより、ノックダウンすることに成功した。
