Research Abstract

Programmed cell death-1(PD-1)という分子が様々な慢性ウイルス感染症患者のリンパ球に発現され、機能不全に陥ることが報告されている。我々はHuman T lymphotropic virus type I (HTLV-I) 感染によって生じる成人T細胞性白血病リンパ腫患者のリンパ球に PD-1が発現され、これが患者の免疫不全状態につながっている可能性を見いだした。
