Research Abstract

エタノール処置によって、小胞体シャペロンの発現変化が認められ、エタノールが小胞体機能に影響を及ぼすことが示された。また、神経幹細胞に小胞体機能阻害剤を処置することによっても、エタノール同様に転写抑制因子NRSF/RESTの結合活性の増加および神経分化抑制が認められた。これらの結果から、小胞体およびNRSF/RESTを介した神経分化機能の変化が、アルコール依存症およびうつ病の共通した生物学的病態である可能性が考えられた。
