Research Abstract

本研究では、良性疾患(非担癌患者)および担癌患者に行われた全身FDG-PET/CT検査の結果から、胸腰椎の糖代謝が年齢に依存して低下し、炎症に伴って充進することを示した。ここから、相対的に肝より高い骨髄へのFDG集積については病的な変化を考慮する必要があることが示唆された。また、急性炎症を伴わない肺でのFDG集積は肺の組織密度を反映し、正常肺と慢性間質性肺炎との区別が容易でないことを示し、PET/CTのみに依存しない診断の必要性を示唆した。
