Research Abstract

近年、肺悪性腫瘍に対する低侵襲な治療法として、経皮的ラジオ波凝固療法(RFA)の応用が注目されているが、肺ラジオ波凝固療法においては、治療効果判定の難しさが指摘されている。今回、経皮的肺ラジオ波凝固療法の動物実験を施行し、治療後に摘出した肺組織を組織学的に検証した。細胞の生死を判別する特殊染色にて、焼灼域では陽性細胞は完全に消失し、辺縁部の鬱血帯ではわずかに陽性細胞が残存していた。治療域の辺縁部にはうっ血や炎症性変化を認め、抗グルコース輸送タンパク(Glut1)染色にて陽性を示し、FDG-PETでの治療効果判定における偽陽性の要因となることが推測された。
