| Research Abstract |
本研究では医療用に用いられる直線加速装置を対象とし,モンテカルロ法による3次元線量分布計算をCPUの持つSIMD機能、GPUのプログラム機能を積極的に用いて,計算精度を損なうことなく1PC当たりの計算速度を従来の20倍に高速化するシステムを開発した。本手法により1シミュレーションにかかる時間が8時間から20分程度とすることが可能となった。また,階層型可逆圧縮アルゴリズムをGPU内で行うことにより6台以上の並列計算においてもほぼ直線的に計算速度を向上させることを可能とした。
