Research Abstract

固形腫瘍内に存在する低酸素領域は、癌の放射線抵抗性の一因である。我々は、低酸素下ではinsulin-like growth factor(IGF)刺激によって癌細胞の放射線感受性が増大することを見出した。本研究では、IGFによる放射線感受性増大のメカニズムを詳細に検討した。膵臓がん細胞AsPC-1ではIGF刺激によって誘導された小胞体ストレスおよびオートファジーによって放射線感受性が増大することが明らかとなったが、小胞体ストレスとオートファジーの直接的な関連は見出せなかった。
