Research Abstract

本応募研究課題では、成熟化樹状細胞(dendritic cell: DC)からの産生されるIL-23の抗腫瘍免疫応答の誘導における機能的役割、とりわけ、IL-23で活性化されるTh1およびTh17の抗腫瘍免疫応答における役割を明らかにすることに焦点を絞り、IL-23を高産生するOK-432およびPGE2成熟化DCと、IL-23遺伝子導入DCを作製し、この2つのIL-23産生DCを用いて研究を進めた。そして、その腫瘍免疫における有用性を明らかにし、最終的にはIL-23産生DCを用いた癌特異的DCワクチンを臨床試験へトランスレーショナルを目的としたいと考えている。
