Research Abstract

脳動脈瘤の有力な機能的候補遺伝子であるLOXL3遺伝子に注目しSNPs関連解析を行った。その結果、特に家族性脳動脈瘤患者患者群に注目した解析で有意な関連が認められた。関連を認めたSNPは3'側遺伝子近接領域に存在していた。さらに、4患者由来の脳動脈瘤壁で遺伝子発現を検討したところ、脳動脈瘤壁においてもLOXL3遺伝子の発現が確認された。以上から、LOXL3遺伝子の脳動脈瘤成因への寄与が示唆された。
