Research Abstract |
筋肉内から軸索流にのり、逆行性に脊髄内へ神経栄養因子を導入する損傷脊髄に非侵襲的な手法を用い、神経保護効果、賦活化効果について検討を行った。本導入方法は、直接導入と遜色ない導入効率を示し、障害高位に応じてtarget organ(筋)を選択することが可能であった。また、脊髄損傷下では前角細胞のみならずグリア系細胞への導入も可能であることが示唆され、逆行性神経栄養因子遺伝子導入を用いた障害脊髄内の微小環境の改善が、脊髄神経グリア系細胞の神経保護効果、再生能力の賦活化効果、分化誘導などを介して、さらなる脊髄再生、機能回復に繋がるものと予想された。
