Research Abstract

生体に吸収されるポリ-L-乳酸(PLLA)繊維を用いて作製した人工腱板を兎の肩腱板に移植したところ、理想的な人工腱板の構造として、表面は癒着を防ぐために平滑で密で、内部は細胞の取り込みと増殖を促すために厚みと空隙のある層状構造であることが分かり、細胞を播種しなくても周囲組織から人工腱板内部に細胞が誘導され肩腱板の再生に有利であると思われた。また、この人工腱板は移植後8週で正常腱板と同等の破断強度を有しており、力学的にも十分な強度を備えていた。
