Research Abstract |
細胞融合因子DC-STAMPのリガンドの同定、およびDC-STAMPを介した細胞融合機構を解明するため、本研究は施行された。DC-STAMPを全身性に過剰に発現するトランスジェニックマウスを作製し、その表現型を解析することで、DC-STAMPが組織特異的に細胞融合を制御することなどを明らかにすることができた。また、DC-STAMPのリガンドの候補としてMCP-1を同定し、MCP-1欠損マウスを用いて多核の破骨細胞分化についての解析を行った。さらに、DC-STAMPの発現制御から細胞融合制御を解明するため、破骨細胞ならびにマクロファージ巨細胞におけるDC-STAMPの転写因子による発現制御機構の解明を行った。
