Research Abstract |
Brain edema leading to an expansion of brain volume has a crucial impact on morbidity and mortality following brain damages. It is necessary to develop a new procedure for measurement of brain water content for experiments. Here, I have developed a new method of measurement of focal brain water content by Karl-Fischer titration. The method will be useful for studies of brain edema.
