Research Abstract

肝臓は重要臓器の一つであるが、手術時、ショック時などに、虚血状態に曝される場合がある。長時間虚血での肝障害発生は明白であるが、短時間であっても血流再開後に障害が生じ(虚血再灌流障害)対処が必要である。本研究では心臓由来のホルモンが肝虚血再灌流障害を軽減することを確認した。またその機序は肝実質細胞ではなく肝臓に少数ある星細胞との関連が深いことを発見し、米国麻酔学会において発表した。
