Research Abstract

本研究では、がん免疫療法(WT1ペプチドワクチン療法)施行期間中の樹状細胞(単球系細胞)の動態と臨床効果との関連について検討した。その結果、治療無効症例ではワクチン投与前から末梢血中にミエロイド系樹状細胞は殆ど認められず、治療有効症例ではワクチン投与前から健常人とほぼ同等のミエロイド系樹状細胞を末梢血中に認めた。このことから、WT1ペプチドワクチン療法の臨床効果の予測因子として末梢血中ミエロイド系樹状細胞の数が関与している可能性が強く示唆された。
