Research Abstract

交配後の給餌量をコントロールラットの60%に制限した母体から生まれた仔ラットの体重は妊娠期間を通して自由に摂食した母ラットの仔よりも生後6週齢で25.5%軽く、体長も約20%短かった。生後7週齢での比較では摂餌制限群とコントロール群間では有意な差は見られなくなっていたが、摂餌制限群の10%で対照群の平均-2SD以下に満たない個体が存在した。カロリー制限母ラットの妊娠期間や出産数、仔ラットの9週齢までの生存率や出生児の体重あたりの臓器重量および肉眼的形態には変化が無かった。飢餓などでオートファジーが誘導されやすい肝臓で、低出生体重仔ラットのオートファジーの誘導をウェスタンブロッティング法で解析したが、コントロール仔ラットとの間に変化は見られなかった。
