Research Abstract	喉頭局所免疫を担う喉頭腺で産生される分泌液の性状を明らかにした。また、喉頭各部位における腺組織分布が加齢とともに変化し、高齢者ほど声門上部の腺房内実質腺の減少や、脂肪変性などの腺組織委縮が認められた。さらに、高齢者ほど声門上部粘液腺が多くなる傾向をみとめた。本研究の結果から、高齢者喉頭や放射線治療歴のある喉頭内の分泌液産生量が減少し、分泌液内蛋白質の減少や分泌液成分の変化をもたらしていることが示唆された。
