Research Abstract

糖尿病網膜ではアンジオテンシンII1型受容体(AT1R)シグナルの下流でシナプス関連タンパクが分解され、電気生理学的異常をきたすが、AT1R阻害剤(ARB)の投与によりその病態を是正できることを明らかにした。本研究は今後の糖尿病網膜症に対する早期介入を考える上でレニン・アンジオテンシン系の阻害が有用であることを初めて明らかにしたものであり、今後の臨床応用が期待できる重要な研究である。
