Research Abstract	視力に重要な領域「黄斑」について、カニクイザルの網膜を用いた実験から、黄斑で高発現しているタンパク質として、トロポミオシン1αを同定した。本研究では、トロポミオシンの黄斑における特徴を以下の点で明らかにした。1)黄斑では、複数のアイソフォームが発現していた。2)黄斑で高発現しているアイソフォームは、脈絡膜の血管内皮細胞に局在していた。3)黄斑変性モデル動物のカニクイザル網膜において、局在、発現量に変化は観察されなかった。
