Research Abstract

咽頭炎や膿痂疹の起因菌として知られるA 群レンサ球菌は様々な病原因子を産生する.同菌から産生される溶血毒素の一種であるストレプトリジンS(SLS)について新規機能を検索した結果,SLS が細菌集合体であるバイオフィルムの形成に関与することが示唆された.さらに,SLS をコードするゲノム領域に血清型特異的に存在する転写調節因子がSLS の転写に影響を与えることが明らかとなった.交付額
