Research Abstract

齲蝕細菌(グラム陽性球菌)がもつSortase(細胞膜に存在するシステインプロテアーゼの一種)が齲蝕細菌の表層病原タンパク因子の細胞局在性を触媒していることを明らかにし、Sortaseが齲蝕細菌感染症の治療と予防に有用な標的酵素であることを示唆してきた.本研究では、表層タンパク質の膜局在性を支配するSortase阻害剤開発のためのSortase活性の簡易・高感度測定法の開発を行った.
