Research Abstract

細胞周期が停止した破骨細胞前駆細胞(pOCP ; post-mitotic osteoclast precursors)は、破骨細胞ニッチを形成する。pOCPの存在部位(すなわち破骨細胞ニッチ)を同定するため、pOCPをGFP標識できるトランスジェニック(Tg)マウスを開発するため、DNAコンストラクトを作製した。また本研究によりM-CSF受容体の新しいリガンドIL-34が、破骨細胞ニッチからの破骨細胞供給に関与することを示唆するデータを得た。
