Research Abstract

NQO1遺伝子高発現系トランスジェニック(Tg)ラットの作成を試み、さらに4NQOによる舌癌誘発実験を行った。その結果、Tgラットおよびコントロール群であるWFラットともに舌癌の発生が見られず、上皮異形成も見られなかった。以上の実験結果から、舌癌発生にNQO1遺伝子が関与していない可能性、および薬物代謝酵素であるNQO1蛋白の高発現が発癌剤の活性化よりむしろ解毒として機能した可能性が考えられた。
