Research Abstract

徳島大学医学部・歯学部附属病院を受診し、説明の上、同意の得られた患者から、健康抜去歯(う蝕や歯周病に罹患していない小臼歯、智歯)の提供を受けた。
それらの抜去歯から歯髄組織を摘出後、無菌的に培養し、歯髄細胞を得た。
得られた歯髄細胞から、total kNAを抽出し.RT-PCR法により複数の抗菌ペプチド遺伝子の発現を確認した。
さらに、ある種の抗菌ペプチド遺伝子の発現は、細菌の菌体成分の一つであるLPSで誘導されることを確認した。
なお、この研究計画は、ヒトの歯髄組織の提供を受けることから、事前に徳島大学医学部・歯学部附属病院倫理委員会に申請の上、認証を得たものである。
