Research Abstract

歯周病原性細菌Porphromonas gingivalisの主要病原因子である外膜タンパク40k-OMPと、アジュバントである無毒化コレラ毒素Aサブユニットと大腸菌易熱性毒素Bサブユニットのキメラ分子(mCTA/LTB)をマウスに共投与すると長期間効果的な抗原特異的免疫応答の誘導保持、歯槽骨吸収の抑制を示した。従って40k-OMP+mCTA/LTB投与は歯周病予防ワクチンとして有効であることが示唆された。
